The Burleigh BBQ Championships brings smoke on the water, meat on the beach and some of Australia’s best BBQ teams together to battle it out over two days on 25 and 26 August 2018 at spectacular Burleigh Heads. The event is FREE for the public.

Held for the first time in 2015, the Burleigh BBQ is fast becoming the hot favorite event to attend, not just for competitors but meat lovers and barbecue enthusiasts alike, from all around the country.

With incredible picturesque views, a smokin vibe and true beachside community feel, this event continues to build heat and momentum way long after the barbecue teams have left the pit yard for all stakeholders concerned. With local backing and in kind support from the City of Gold Coast and Gold Coast Central Chamber of Commerce, the Burleigh BBQ is a FREE community event.

The 2017 Burleigh BBQ exceeded all expectations and attracted well over 10,000 people over the 2 days. We anticipate the 2018 event to continue its success with 50 competition barbecue teams from all over Australia, 60 local and national judges, 20 live music performances and over 15 local food producers and food vendors all ready to take their positions on 25-26 August in North Burleigh beachfront for the fourth annual running.
